I began collecting autographs by going to Triple A baseball games. Being 12, I loved being at the game, sitting around the ball park, and meeting the players that just didn't make it or only had a cup of coffee in the league. That was just as exciting as seeing some of the fast rising prospects that came through for only a series. Having a player order a pizza for me and my brother while we autographed, play boxing with some players while they waited for the bus, or getting to meet the wives of the home team players after seeing me around so often. Great memories in these pieces of cardboard. I am finally starting to unload some of my dupes and cards that I just don't collect any more.
