    These knives are usually purchased as a set (box as shown in photo) of two pieces, only one piece was sent! This add was a bit deceiving and did not mention the fact that only one piece was available.

    You are correct when you say these are usually purchased in pairs. When these are purchased from the OEM, they are listed individually but typically purchased in pairs. This listing followed the OEM standard of listing individually. There was a pair listed when you ordered, but you only purchased one. The second is still available if you want it.
