  Absolutely gorgeous kit. Less cleanup work then expected so far. It came extremely well packaged and arrived in great shape! I'll have to dig through the boxes to find the assembly directions, but so far it's great, the pictures are from the initial test fit. Outstanding communication, especially considering the time zone differences. I will try to update this once it's completed.

  I got my R2D2 today! It came very well packed, in good order and it was a joy to assemble. It looks very realistic and is very well made with good attention to detail. The legs need some work to secure though. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it for any true Star Wars enthusiast. May the force be with you.

  Superlatives do not do this item justice, the quality is fantastic, it really looks screen accurate & the paintwork finish is first class. This is the best value for money of any R2 D2 I have seen. This IS the droid you are looking for. The packaging is the best &, I would say, it would be difficult to pass a cats whisker between the polystyrene the box wall & the product, totally secure. Sellers communication kept me informed of every detail, from manufacturing through to shipping & customs.

  Nice item a bit expensive with the shipping considering key items such as the dome and foot arrived broken. seller did ship new replacements but the replacement dome also arrived with a hole in it a crack around the perimeter. I will do what I can to patch it and make it work. This is the perils of shipping a fragile item overseas. Seller is very responsive and helpful. Overall pleased with the kit. Will take more work than expected but It will hopefully be worth it in the end.

  Thanks. I understand that paying the same fee for DIY kits as standard units may seem unfair. Actually, shipping costs more than we asked with ($710). Damage occurred due to the previous packaging (foot inside the dome) and customs’ insufficient repacking, which we’ve since fixed. Now, each item has its own custom foam compartment in two large boxes in airmail limits. 20+ R2 shipped, no issues so far. As you stated not needing replacements again, but we’re happy to ship new ones if you need ✌🏻

  Ordered in over a month ago for way over a month ago still haven’t received it. Haven’t got a message saying you know hey it’s taking longer than it was supposed to nothing so I don’t think I do any business with them ever again.

  Please check your inbox. We have tried to reach out several times since the day of purchase to explain that you bought only the upgrade electronics, not a full R2-D2 statue. And that it requires a base unit to apply the upgrades. We also shared links to the correct base units if you intended to proceed. We asked that if you simply wanted us to send only the upgrade, you needed to clearly confirm it. Because if that wasn’t your goal, you might not have the skill to install the kit by yourself.
