  Vendor sold this item broken and lacquered, did not disclose this info in description. Wrapped individually ,very well, as 2 pkgs -2 ends. “Intact” Book end pkg had broken pc of rope (tug o war) enclosed in bubble wrap. 2nd pkg was the broken end. Rope could not be glued for another piece was clearly missing to connect rope fully to base of end. did not happen in shipping for 2 packages were wrapped in bubble layers. Clearly this item shipped broken. Tried to upload 4 pics- lost text 3xs.

  Hello, I am sorry to hear your item arrived damaged. When your item was packaged and shipped it was not broken. both bookends were in tact and not cracked or broken. I would have not shipped out damaged items. It likely got damaged in the shipping process. I am happy to refund your purchase. Could you please send me pics of the damaged items so I know what went wrong with the packaging. I would appreciate it. and again I am sorry your items were damaged in the shipping. Thank you.
