I cultured the same stool in two different vial and received one positive result and one negative results. I then waited a few weeks and this kit gave me a positive test for salmonella, while 2 days later I received a negative test from an actual lab. Most of the false positives were caused by the sample size. Too much stool sample can give the false positives on the kit.
