Alaska was home to me and my husband, for many years. The remote Eskimo village where we lived, where my husband taught school, mushed dogs, gardened, ran a fishing lodge and pastored a small church, was small and most everything had to be flown in or barged upriver. So, the concept of having an online store became very appealing to me. Then, a few years ago, we moved to the lower 48 and are now on a road system. Resourcing became much easier. For a while, going to town and shopping was like children in a candy store! I often think of those who are living as we once did and am happy to offer a variety of goods in my eBay store.
