This is an excellent unit however, be aware that it is designed for a guitar that has a fair neck angle to guitar body such as a Les Paul. I put this on a 2016 Explorer HP which has almost NO neck angle. With the unit set as low as it will go, I could not get the action as low as I would had it with the TOM bridge system. This would not be an issue on a guitar with more neck angle. Further, if you are used to original full floating Floyd trems, you will find the ability to pull up is limited with this unit. Best I could achieve is one full tone. By comparison, I can get 2 and a half tones out of my OFR or my Ibanez. If diving or basic trem effect (surf style) is all you want this will definitely work. The unit requires no routing or drilling except on the Behind the nut locking unit. 2 small screws. Overall I would rate this unit as very good, and excellent for what it was designed to do (replace a tune-O-matic bridge with a tremolo without routing or drilling). I am going to work with this a little longer on my explorer to see what I can do with it, but it is probably going to ultimately wind up on my Les Paul.Read full review

I put these on my own builds. Sure beats routing big holes in my beautiful (and expensive) tone wood bodys. I also love the look and quality of the locking nuts.
