I bought this cymbal to use as a left side crash/ light ride. I'm a fan of larger crashes for this reason because it allows me to bring fewer cymbals to a gig. I'll use a 21" main ride, the 20" medium-thin crash and a pair of hats. While I liked the light ride response of this cymbal, I felt its crash sound was a bit brittle sounding to my ears. I prefer the 20" Sabian AAX Dark Crash as a left side crash/ light ride for the music I play (classic rock, blues and r&b) I would venture to guess that rock cats and harder hitters might dig the Zildjian 20" medium thin for its projection and cutting tone. It just wasn't my cup of tea.
I've been playing Zildjian cymbals for the past 50 plus years and never been disappointed. This particular is the largest crash in my stable and works great as a ride cymbal too. I'm pairing it with my 22" Crash of Doom for the next gig!

I bought This Cymbal Used, So It Doesn't Look As Pretty As The New Ones. But I Believe That Its Made Better. It Goes Very Well With My 16" And 18" Cymbals. A Nice Deeper Crash Cymbal.
A great crash not to loud. It also makes a good light ride the bell is sweet. The only thing I don't like is if you crash ride it ckoaks out a little but its not made for it so lol
Zildjian is The Rock Standard.
