Faithfull. No Way. Given to Fly. Wishlist. Low Light. Push Me Pull Me. This review is only for residents of Oregon and Washington. I thrashed my first copy of this CD. I think it was played and tossed aside carelessly on just about every road trip I've ever been on. Love the cover art. It reminds me of road trips through the hills of Eastern Oregon, Wasco County specifically. I have Yield on vinyl. Also saw them on this tour and I have the 24 x 36 poster from the tour. This album came out at a great time in my life. Thank you Pearl Jam. Eddieeeeeee. Eddieeeeeee. So good that I searched all over ebay until I found a MINT used copy that is on its way to me right now. Our local used CD chain store puts these incredibly annoying price stickers on the covers of the CDs, which is so uncool on a Digipak, plus all the employees seem depressed. I hate going there. So buy it on ebay if you live in Portland, Oregon. Thank you ebay.Read full review
One of Pearl Jams best cd's. I bought this cd because my 16 year-old son, who was killed 3 1/2 years ago, listened to his Yield cd all the time. When he was killed, all of his music was stolen. It has taken me this long to be able to stand to hear these songs again, but now they bring back good memories of him. Thank you.
Great Album! Every song on this album could've been a hit. They fused in pop elements, such as zips and whirr's with their guitars during the choruses, in their songs. Songs such as, "Pilate", "Faithful", "In hiding" are some of the most colorful tunes I've ever heard from the group. Of course you can't forget the awesome, "Do the Evolution" which was PJ's first video they made since "Ten".
Like the cover. This is a Christmas gift, and the person receiving it will enjoy it, listening to and playing along with it.
An incredible sound experience from start to finish. Although it never reached the status of TEN, it is clearly a piece successfully placed in the Pearl Jam Puzzle. Tracks like Given to Fly, Faithful, In Hiding & All Those Yesterdays cement their place in rock and roll mastery. Pick it up if you don't have it. It's worth the $10.00
