A great product overall
A must-have for anyone who uses an Xbox one controller and does not want to burn through AA batteries at an alarming rate. Well designed, fits nicely, and has good battery life. My only minor frustration: you can only charge the battery while it’s in the controller, and unfortunately the controller will only accept a charge via either an Xbox one or a PC. The controller will light up when connected to a wall outlet, but the battery will not actually fill up with juice - this only happens when plugged into a PC or console. Even a USB expansion hub connected to a PC will not charge the controller. It must be directly connected. This quibble aside, it’s a great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This item is listed as an official xbox one charge and play kit. It is not! The battery is aftermarket the only thing official is the charging cable. It is falsely advertised!! Was first confused about it but its actually really awesome!
At first drain, I would charge up the battery and try to use controller but it would alsmot immediately turn off! I tried charging it a third time and it finally just began to work properly. Worked well at first.
The first few days I had the battery it worked great. After about a week or so of using it it would randomly cause my controller to turn off or say it was dying only after a couple hours of use. I've tried other batteries to make sure it wasn't just the controller and those worked fine. Xwaste One Battery
The battery holds a low charge compared to the original Microsoft battery, the charging cord its thinner and cheaper made and has very poor electric flow.
