X10 technology may be obsolete, but I've been successful with it for ~ 30 years - TRUTH ! The CM11A controller will operate fine for one - two years then it's timing function goes wacko. Communication remains good, addressing individual units is fine. I can address units, turn - on/off / dim all units - NO problem. Just the clock / timer goes wacko --- Buy a new CM11A, and I'm good for another two years. ..... Any comments - PLEASE.........

I was looking for an X-10 controller that I could run from my Ubuntu Linux system. This X10 interface works great. I connected the interface to my Ubuntu system with a USB to Serial RS232 adapter (FTDI chip), and then used "heyu" software to operate the unit. All working great. This adapter was also very inexpensive in comparison to some other controllers you can purchase.

I've been using one of these for years! It works very well and is easy to setup and program. I bought a second one for use in a vacation home. I can program it from my laptop and then leave it there while I'm away to give the place a "lived-in" appearance.

Product works for me :D Now I can easily automate these legacy X10 switches using Home Assistant and Heyu in a cost effective way. Thanks!!!

I've had X10 since the mid-80's and have way too much of it to have to make a big change in a controller that I have been using for a long time. It was nice to be able to find my third one. They only last so long. I know I will need more in the future and I hope they still have them here. Thanks!
