I bought this 500GB drive as a replacement for an 80GB hard drive for an old DVR. I did need to buy a PATA to SATA adapter to make it fit my DVR, but it was easy to install and has worked great since I bought it a couple of months ago. It is a low power consumption drive which was needed for the DVR. I can now record over 200 hours of high quality or 1000 hours of fair quality shows, which is 5 times more than before. It was definitely worth the price.
The hard drive came quickly, was well packaged and worked properly straight out of the box. Formatting and installation of software was snappy. What more could one ask for? Will definitely be back next time I need a hard drive.

I received the hard drive sooner than expected. It was easy to install. It's the quietest hard drive I've ever used and came at a great price. I'd buy another one if necessary. My processor fans don't work overtime with this drive as they did with my old one. Great product!!!
