I wonder why I have been using all those others now. I can make just a few cups, it's really hot, and the taste is so much better than in the cup-at-a-time convenience coffee makers. I thought I would only use this on the weekends, but am getting it ready at night, then plugging it in come morning. I bring a to-go cup to work with me and seldom use the single cup pot at work anymore.

We purchased this to use in New Zealand - Not realising that that it runs on different voltage than us . We used the converter plug , but the machine went into serious hissy fit and blew the fuses in our stove ! Yikes ! Could you please alert other international buyers that the product may not work for them . If we could have got the percolator going , I'm sure we would have enjoyed using it .

This is a great coffee pot...and I have had a LOT of them, of all different brands, over the years. It has a heavier duty cord where most have a universal type, a sight glass by the handle-so you can see how much water you have in it, a sturdy handle that will not slide in your hand and a tight fitting lid that does not dribble as you pour your coffee. The pot and its basket, tube and basket lid are easy to clean with baking soda, water and a paper towel to keep them shiny. Rinse it well and you are done! This coffee pot brews in a few minutes and gives you a hot cup of coffee. You also use less coffee than your usual measure.
Iwas really great to find an all stainless steel percolator to make my morning brew and my day. Fortunately my old West Ben percolator died. It was about forty years old and made of aluminum and I didn't particularly like drinking from an aluminum pot it was better than from a plastic one. I hope this one lasts as long as my old one.
