We love this bike. I bought this for my 4 yo so that we can ride to school. She is 42.5" and the handle bars come down, to make it easier for her to hold on. As other people have mentioned, you really have to get it tight around your seat post and make sure your seat is tight. My seat moved for the first week or so until I got it right. You can still ride, it's just a little annoying. I don't know if her pedaling helps move us forward, but I can definitely feel it and it makes her happy to think she is helping us up a hill. Overall, if you are looking for a way to ride with your kid without paying thousands for some of the cargo bikes, this is a good deal.

Left pedal was stripped would never go on the bike. It's a poor design to start with and would not waste my money trying to buy this for my kid. Just teach them how to ride a bike like normal. Buying this bike turned into such a disaster that it's motivated my kid to learn how to ride on their own and they're doing much better now and on their way to being able to ride without training wheels.

Our 4 year old grand daughter absolutely loves this! I think it is better at getting a child used to riding their own bike much easier than training wheels.
