It's a nice clear scope with lots of easy adjustments. The 1/4 moa adjustments for elevation and windage are especially nice, the dials are easy to grip and turn with just your fingers while still giving firm and audible clicks per adjustment. The dials also have a spring loaded top that can be pulled out and turned back so the "0" digit matches up with the hash mark on the scope once you have established the rifles zero with your chose ammunition. This allows easy returns to your original zero if you choose to briefly switch to an alternate load. Though I have yet to use it, the ballistic reticle is also nice to have if you want to make longer shots on the fly. Overall it would be hard to go wrong with this scope, Vortex's unconditional warranty really can't be beat, and the price is very reasonable compared to so many other companies these days that have focused way too much on the Tacticool rather than the Practical. Just getting started working it at the range. Clear. The 44 objective lens provides plenty of light. The reticle is simple and fits my Shooting. Placed scope on a 224 Valkyrie upper. Looking for good visibility to 1,00” yards. We’ll see.

First impression-Well built scope and very bright and clear.. Very shape image on high power settings @ longer ranges. Adjustment are fairly precise.. Really appreciate side focus and parralax adjustment.. 30mm tube is a plus.. Best warranty in the optic field,period.. The warranty and construction plus features are hard to beat for the cost of scope.

Great scope, very clear, easy to adjust, make objects seem like they are right in front of you. The focus is easy to use and on high power you can focus in on something far away and see what it is. This scope makes shooting long distance fun and easy.

I have several Vortex optics and the Vipers are some of my favorites. Feature packed for the money and a lifetime "No Questions" Warranty. That being said Leupold's still have the better glass, VX-3 and up that is. Something about a Leupolds no edge glass is hard to beat. Vortex is better at giving you good glass with better features to where Leupold is a few less features but better edge to edge glass. At least that's my opinion, and that's several years of experience and thousands of dollars invested in both company's. All in all you can't go wrong in a vortex.
