The story of Matthew is both heart warming and sometimes heart breaking. The way Jesus is portrayed is very loving and yet with a firmness that can often prick at your heart because we so often fail Him. Very well made, wonderful storyline and very accurate in accordance to Gods Word. It's not perfect... And if a persons goal is to pick it apart, well, one can .... Like when in the garden, Jesus cried tears of blood.... In this depiction, Jesus cried regular tears.... A small difference, but it might be fodder for a legalistic believer. Acts and John are every bit as good as Matthew, though they deal with their own ideals of Gods Word. Acts- the works and miracles - and their story..... Mark - the Gospels from a different point of view.... Are wonderful. These movies can bring Christ to life in your home, and church. I have bought about a dozen sets and sent them all over the country to family, friends and some acquaintances.... Trying to help spread the message of Christ. I recommend then to everyone I can. The movies follow scripture, and there is even the scripture passages shown on the screen from which that part of the movie is referenced.... Check it out for yourself. They are long movies, but that is not a bad thing.... You'll love seeing Christ come to life before your eyes.Read full review

5 stars is for the Gospel of John only. The other ones are horribly produced, directed and the acting is horrible... Look at the cover of Matthew and Acts. You see that guy with the BIG smile? Well, that's the guy who plays Jesus. He has that stupid smile on his face the entire movie. It's not natural. John was great. Forget the other two...
