I really like having a village to grow. I'm learning all I can about the different items around that can help them grow in their field. The healers learn from studying a number of plants. The builders learn by building and fixing housing, and other things. Farmers learn to pick berry's, grow crops, and fish for different things. Scientists learn by researching alot, and they get you your new updates. The breeders have lots of fun, but while pregnant they only care for their young till age 2. You have births, deaths, and celebrating. It's not a game you can stop, until your done, just put on pause. You fend off illness, starvation, and just have fun. My friend has a game and you just want to have your own village to grow also.
This game is a simulation of 6 villagers - sometimes seven - crash landing a boat onto an island called Isola (pronounced I-Zoh-La). it is up to you to teach the villagers to farm, research, and build new huts. farming creates more food, building enables a larger population, and researching helps you gain tech points to you can do these things better. the game is played in real time and so even when the game is off, your villagers are still working - or dieing! the game is very child friendly - as two villagers kiss, a stork might bring a new baby. Virtual Villagers: A New Home is a fun and addicting game that always has you wondering what your villagers are going to do next!
I received the Game few days ago, easy to install even kids can do it. The game itself is worth playing and definetly kids will like it. The game will teach you how to be creative and to think how you can survive on an island. All characters have their own special ability from fishing, farming and building your own house and fixing the place. It is actually a very interesting game.
This is very, very slow. I bought it because I thought it looked like it was a good idea but it's not done at all well. The area of play is tinney and the little people take forever to do anything. If you have the time to play a little each day maybe you might like having this little village but "The Sims" it's not. The graphis are really bad, the music just goes on and on. No real sound efficts, and it's hard to figure just what your surposed to do. Or really whats the point. Don't wast you money.
