Great Quality Trigger
I like everyone else had watched numerous videos, read the countless reviews, talked to all my buds, about what they all recommended and got the same thing, more questions with multiple products to choose from. Why? I asked can no one be specific on one hard product? 2 reasons. 1 price 2 name brand. I purchased this trigger because of the price. No gimmicks. For the price I paid that included the anti walk pin set (a $50 value) it was a no brainer. So, I purchased 2 trigger groups for the price of the one that I was originally looking at. How's that for bargain shopping! Now about quality? Yes, these are quality crafted equal to or greater than Timney or any other Aircraft aluminum/steel body unit. Go to their website and get their specs on their website Installation is easy. Just like a Timney. Performance is one of a kind! This thing is in a class all its own. I have felt many triggers and liked most. Hated some. This one I love! Near zero travel. Theres an Audible break that you can also feel at trigger reset. It's designed for accuracy in mind, but let me tell you it allows you to be lightning fast and it is fun. Check it out yourself folks, you won't be disappointed. Great trigger. Updated from 3 stars to 5.
Great trigger, and a great value for your buck. I have given it 3 stars initially, due to misfires I had, while using the cheap Tula ammo. After further investigation I have determined that all misfires (light primer strikes) were attributed to an inconsistency in Tula ammo primers' position. Some of them were set further in / deeper from the edge of casing, causing light primer strikes, not enough, to set the cartridge off. I had no such misfire issues, even with the cheapest available US made ammo. I hope some of you would find this review helpful, especially if you were experiencing similar issues with Russian ammo. Again, the trigger is excellent, easy to install, and a great update from your milspec trigger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Huge improvement
Can't emphasize enough how much an improvement this is over the milspec system. I've never used one of the high end big name brands but the founder of Velocity has a long distinguished history working in the industry so I don't suppose it could get too much better than this. Only thing I'd say is check out the ones with the DLC coating...I got the one without (old model) because I wasn't aware of the new and improved one available for about the same money. First upgrade you should make.
I just replaced my mil spec trigger with this Velocity 3# single stage drop in and it is an Amazing trigger. 3# does not feel too light, in fact i am more confident with this trigger because i know when my gun will go off compared to guessing with that crappy mil spec trigger.This is the first upgrade you should make right after your optics choice. I have another AR15 and replaced the mil spec stock trigger with a Rock River 2 stage 3.5# varmit. They are different but would be comparable to replacing iron sights with a top end scope or as different as night and day. Please do yourself a huge favor and splurge on this Velocity 3# trigger. Velocity trigger.
Triggers dropped in place and tightened up with out any problems. Installed the Velocity triggers in my 16" & 20" M4s. Much lighter trigger pull now. Took longer to remove the old stock trigger and hammer than to install the new ones. The only Modifications I had to do was file down the anti-roll pins on both the Anderson and PSA receivers. Had to remove about 6/1,000 on the pins. Took maybe a couple of minutes at the most. Great product at a good price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Trigger at a Great Price!
This is actually the second one I have purchased. The trigger group fit well and is nice and crisp. I cannot give a good comparison to some of the other name brands as I do not own any. Velocity drop in's are on the level.
I put this in my Doublestar 5.56 build. It is an amazing trigger. No creep,breaks like glass and the return is so short. My doublestar trigger was about a 6 pound pull the velocity is worlds different. I put this trigger pack up against three of the big name drop in trigger manufactures and it performs as well if not better. Its a value,half the cost of other triggers but all of the quality. It can stay in with out the anti walk pins but what the heck they came with this combo so i threw them on. Not kns quality but they work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is my second one bought for my precision AR it is also my little secret as anyone who tries my AR the first question is what trigger is that. No creep or over travel just perfect and what you would expect from a $350+ drop in quality trigger but for half the price, also very fast and short reset for you double or triple tap shots. I will soon have one in every AR of mine when save up enough for my third and forth one. On top of all that. The delivery was incredibly fast, I think 3 days to my porch with the holiday! Want to upgrade your AR a bit? Get this trigger.
Easy to install, light, breaks clean as glass, there is nothing to dislike about this trigger. I installed this in an 80% AR lower that was having some issues withe the milspec LPK resulting in two shot runaways. I pulled the hammer and trigger and replaced them with this drop in trigger. I wish I had done so earlier. This single stage trigger shoots like a trigger of twice the cost. Thinking about trying a drop in setup to replace your milspec hammer and trigger? Get this one. I will be getting more of these for my next few builds. Installation was exceedingly simple, far easier than installing a milspec hammer and trigger, and the shorter arms on the hammer spring makes torquing the set screws effortless. If you know enough to field strip your AR then you can install this trigger in about 5 min. I initially had an issue with the supplied anti-walk pins, one of the pins was not properly tapped. When I contacted the seller they immediately sent out an entire new set of anti-walk pins, no questions asked. The new set was just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I haven't shot my rifle much since the install but enough to know it was a major improvement over the original mil spec trigger for sure. It fit in my Ruger like a glove so there was no need for the anti rotation parts and there wasn't even room for part of them had i tried to use it. There is no travel and no take up. The minute you start to apply pressure you are heading for a clean break soon to come. I haven't even thought to check nor have i noticed the re set so i'll have to pay attention to that next time. This was as good of a trigger as i could have asked for and a lot cheaper then others at least for now so i'd for sure say buy one because you will not regret it and i guarantee tighter groups over using a mil spec trigger as long as the shooter does his or her part!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
