Anyone who grew up in the late 1970's will love this album. Donna Summers is disco epitomized. This is as much required listenning for any fan of the '70's, as "Saturday Night Fever" is required viewing for them. Admittedly shallow in some of the lyrics ("Hot Stuff"), it does overflow with that unforgettable disco beat. Turn down the lights, put up the mirrored disco ball, get out your nylon-acetate shirt and white 3 piece suit or red disco dress and enjoy Ms. Summers at her best !!!
Boy, do I remember the disco days! Donna Summer was hot, hot, hot! I had this album on a record and a cassette (all they made back then) and I just loved it. I was a bit disappointed when I received this CD and found out that this album is a "remake" of the original "Live And More" album. I'm enjoying this CD, but it's just not the same as the original album. If you luck up and find the original album, grab it...it's much better than this one.
