this is very good charger, but they don't tell charge is done that is still red light on and there is no green led lights (means which is full charged battery). otherwise is good brand EBL. It is does all type Ni-MH,NiCD,etc. works great.

i purchased this charger mainly to charge D-cells as i already have a good charger for AA and AAA. the instruction paper that comes with the charger has a formula for calculating the time for a complete charge as the charger does not shut off when the batterys are fully charged. running the formula for a 10000 mah D cell results in a result of 80 hours to reach full charge. this is why i say it is underpowered. you apparently can destroy a ni-mh battery by charging too slowly same as charging too fast. i gathered that information from the website of a manufacturer.

This charger is the bomb! Charges every size almost and I've charged em too! Only con is the red lights that tell u Batts are charging don't go off or turn green when charging is done. They stay red. It's easy to forget u have the batteries on charge. Or easy to forget when u put them to charge. But it works great!

The charger seem to do its job but was disappointed that it did not cut off when the batteries charged. As far as the charging of the batteries it did charge them but you got to remember to take them out or turn it off the next day. You get what you pay for and overall it seems to be a good buy.

You'd better get a lamp timer if you want to use this charger because it doesn't shut off when the batteries are charged. There is a formula in the instructions to determine how long to charge the batteries based on the amp hour of the battery, which is ridiculous. Unless you have a way to determine the actual amp hour rating of the battery (sometimes they are marked incorrectly----usually with a higher rating; they also can get weaker with age) you may end up ruining the battery from overcharging it.
