Good quality cotton webbing M1 carbine sling. If you are purchasing this for use with a Ruger 10/22 that came equipped with the M1 carbine style stock, the oiler is too big (diameter) by about 1/16” and will not fit in your stock. I cut down a piece of 3/8” brass rod to the same length as the oiler and rounded off both ends by chucking it in my drill press and running a file on the ends. That works to hold my sling, and it works great. I would also recommend checking the back side of the sling snap for sharp edges that will chew up your stock. I filed these off at the same time that I was making my brass dowel rod. For the price, I am pleased. This will work well with my rifle.

It is the right weight of webbing and the metal is good. The rivet on the back side of the snap was sharp and cut the stock on my carbine until I noticed and smoothed it out.

It's exactly as advertised. Look up installation online, it's a little bit of a puzzle.

Great product. This supplier was quick and the product is as he said. I love all my WWII vintage rifles and I always want them to have the correct parts/slings for the era.
