Being a former LEO, I’ve used quite a few eight systems- especially on Glock. For LEO’s, CCW carriers, EDC citizens, and even home defense- being able to utilize a clear sight picture can be a matter of life or death. Night sights, aka Tritium sights (the compound which glows) take the “guess work” from low/no light situations, and help you follow your training when nearly blind. I don’t think anyone discounts their benefits. However, cost can often be a factor, as can cheap “knock-offs” which do not use real Tritium as it costs more (Tritium needs NO ambient light to ‘charge’- it’s always ready to go, usually for up to / over 15 years). However, two things are VERY important to me: 1. Sight Picture (This varies by front/rear ‘notch’ width, and sight height) 2. Quick, yet accurate target acquisition; This means, there is a “fine balance” between too much sight picture gap (front post usually narrower- it’s usually for (older eyes especially) faster target acquisition, however accuracy suffers. Now, TOO wide of a front post will do Competition shooters fine- but not ideal for quick target acquisition. A fine median is needed. These meet that PERFECTLY- the rear Tritium is “clear” during daylight, making the rear sight ‘combat cut’ looking during daylight and a properly lit night, U-shaped two dot. The front sight post is square post Tritium inserted dot w/ a bright (yellow or orange) fluorescent outline. It’s outline fits perfectly in the rear u-notch for precise shooting, and at night the Tritium dot fits with minor space around- perfect for quicker target acquisition. Overall A+Read full review

I LOVE these sites, got my Dad a pair right behind my purchase, his is the orange and I love them too. I did not see anywhere on the description you could charge the paint on the front sight. You can. Meaning the entire painted dot can be charged with a flashlight before you use them in darker areas making one huge glowing dot up front for a period of time

If you want the easiest shooting, toughest and nicest sights for your Glock, this is what you want! U notch rear is "top notch" and the front sight is very easy to pick up and put on target very quickly. They are a bit expensive but well worth the improvements made to my follow up shots and overall groupings. Get off the fence and buy them. You won't regret it.

Put these on my glock 19. Wow ! Perfectly bright and i love the yellow around the front sight. Makes sight allignment quick and easy. Only drawback was the price. But what can you do ?? Cant skimp on something that could save yourself or someone you love. Great product

Trijicon HD nigh sights have been the gold standard for years for good reason. Yes they are pricey, but they are solid and the rear sight is rugged enough to withstand one-handed reloads if necessary. About any sight will do when things are going right. It's when they go wrong that you need quality you can count on. That's where these come in.
