Eye relief is very long, which is exactly what I wanted. When transitioning from a dark area looking into a bright area, there is some reticule fade - it can be hard to make out. However, when it is fully dark, the tritium gives just enough light to make out the reticule without damaging your night vision. The exit pupil is also quite large, so low light performance is good. I didn't use the supplied larue mount, but rather a carrying handle mount for an A2. There seems to be a bit of close range parallax, however, I didn't expect this scope to be like a red dot.
