I took.a chance and.bought this used because new ones are.so expensive and I have 40 vhs tapes with converted 8mm family home movies that are pricless that I needed to convert to dvd.before they go bad.I also have some assorted store bought new movies on vhs & nobody wants vhs.tapes so that market is zero. The ad said the player was lightly used and that sold me.Well this player looks like its brand new on exterior and picture quality is great. I' ve already converted 4 vhs home movies to dvd and couldn't be happier with my new used toy.

older model could have been kept a little cleaner and shinier.i previously owned a later silver model.very bulky and not slim for limited cabinet shelf space.i am glad it has optional inputs/outputs and hdmi.overall appearance could have been neater.i will keep till it busts.no manual what is the suggested vhs and dvd brand and lengths?this is essential techno infovhs 120,160 or 200. dvd brands cheap or maxell or premium name brands.these are info that any expert customer would inquire, please provide manual model out of date .lousy service at any costs. 2 stars is generous.

We have a large collection of over 400 DVD and VCR videos. Our player "died" and the combo players are very hard to find. It works perfectly and we're delighted with it. Vicki
