I am giving three stars , vs, 4, as it's not "better than I expected". However, "it's okay" implies it's not that great - but it is!. The two best features are the "stow" mode, and the easy, 1 pull start. When you are done with the mower, the handle folds up, and the machine can be "tilted", to create a smaller footprint for storage. The one pull feature is also a plus. I chose a push mower, because the self -propelled ones are too big and too fast for me -my yard is not level and has many obstacles to maneuver around. I was dismayed that the motor housing is plastic, not metal. The other item I'm not thrilled about, is, without the bag (using the side discharging mode) the (?) mat on the back of the mower makes it a little difficult to pull the mower back when trying to maneuver around objects. It's easy for it to get hung up underneath the mower. I haven't used the clippings bag yet, as I wanted to have the clippings on the lawn.Read full review

I bought this same mower almost 15 years ago. I was impressed at how well it ran and how long it lasted. I’m happy to have another Toro Recycler with a Briggs and Stratton!!!! It works great!!
