This, like all Timney triggers is well made and great value. However there is no accommodation for a safety if you want to use it on a Parker Hale 1200. Tim new makes an "Ultralight" Mauser trigger that is more expensive that has an integral safety, it should work. Had to return my #101 because I won't hunt without a safety.

First off, way better than the stock military Mauser trigger!!! Timney triggers are great! I did have some issues lowering the trigger pull down to two and a half pounds. I kept backing the tension screw and could not get below 3 pounds. I ended up tightening the screw all the way with hopes of compressing the spring and taking some of its rigidity out of it. As hoped, it worked . After this I backed the screw off and was able to get it down to a nice 2.5 lb I would not hesitate recommending this trigger. It fit really easily onto the rifle. I did have to remove some material from the stock but that is to be expected with the old Mausers. At the end of the day, it does require a little bit of toying with in regards to getting the trigger pull to your desired poundage and you well most likely need to remove some material from your stock. That written, the trigger is awesome and well worth it!Read full review

This is the third Timney I have installed in one of my rifles. Timney gives better trigger control, adjustability, and just a smoother pull. Easy to install, takes only a few minutes. Make your adjustments from there.

Very little fitting needed, Swed mauser, had to use dremal for the trigger guard and inside stock, but it took maybe 30 minutes, putting it on the rifle took like 1 minute and instructions for adjustment were easy to follow. Great buy.

Pros: High quality, easily adjustable, excellent feel Cons: requires removing a substantial amount of wood from a normal Mauser stock when replacing the original trigger.
