Several nice songs on this CD and Ms.Swift and her band execute them all very well. I don't think Ms. Swift pulls of the "Santa Baby" thing well (seems inconsistent with her image). I'll keep it in my collection, listen around Christmas time, but doubt it will play in my house much other than Yuletide.
With the proper equipment you can reduce the instrumentals and increase the vocal to hear her sing. She is young and her voice is still growing. With a borrowed CD we listened to her sing and I was dissapointed not only how she sang but the way she tried to sing. The CD seems like her others and you get the feeling that she is just reinvented in another jacket sleeve with a new picture. I personally am of the opinion that she sounds flat and has trouble carrying a note like she sings off key. I will not be adding this CD to my collection. Not recommended. Maybe she might want to re-do in a couple of years with a more mature voice.
I’ve been looking to keep my Taylor swift collection up to date for so long and I was so happy to find this!

An good cd; not as good as either Speak Now and Fearless but a good example of growing in music. She takes some classics(just one question: last Christmas??). and wrote two new songs. Brought as a bridge between debut and Fearless; but an genuine good album nontheless.
It's a short album, and it's not anything ground breaking, but it's still Taylor Swift. I wouldn't get this for someone just cause they like Taylor Swift, but if you are a Taylor Swift fan looking to add to your collection - yes, it's worth it.
