Angie Dickinson had few star vehicles in her big screen career, but this film reminds us of what an attractive and appealing actress she is. She has strong support from a young Roger Moore and the always reliable Peter Finch,in a role strikingly similar to the one he played in "Nun's Story"(1959). The plot is pure soap opera and at times politically incorrect, although it has the courage to take on once taboo subjects such as genital mutilation and out of wedlock pregnancy. If you like these stars and this era, check it out!
