Clear -- reminiscent -- sharp, poignant Bukowski. The beauty of his writing is the understated re-telling, the description that is simplified and without apology -- The Most Beautiful Woman in Town reflects Buk's abbreviated tone and ability to have a conversation about his day, while catching you off guard as you grow into streets, his listlessness, his creative passions, and the finality of the moment.
If you love sex, booze and women you'll love this book. Although Bukowski is acclaimed as one of the greatest english writers, if you've never read his stuff before, this is not the book to start with. Before I read any other books by Buk, I read this one and all I could think is "what trash." So if you already love Bukowski, you'll love this book. If you haven't read anything by him, start with Post Office or Ham on Rye... Enjoy
My son was very happy to receive this book, great value and quick shipping, thank you!

If you have not read Bukowski, I suggest you do so. His poems are great, his prose will blow your mind and his biographical work will turn you into an addict. Here is a man who will tell you exactly what you DO NOT want to hear in such a manner that you will come back for more. The most beautiful woman in tow is mostly short stories, a light read. Enjoy.
New management came in and helped me after I had a terrible experience with the previous management. I would highly recommend
