A great report on the first archeological discovery linked directly to Jesus of Nazareth. It is virtually earth shattering in its content. An ossuary (a bone box used in secondary burial) for Jesus, and one for each of his mother, for Mary Magdalene who was an apostle written our of the biblical content of our bible, for their son, for his brother James and for Matthew and located 25 years ago, by Israeli archeologists who chose to keep the information out of the public, in a cave tomb near Jerusalem where they have rested in solitude for 2000 years since the destruction of that city and its population before 70 C.E by the Romans responding to the Jewish revolt of that period.. The text lends a level of reality to the Jesus story and provides an insight into funeral rites not easily understood by reading our New Testament. A great read!Read full review

There is a lot of scientific research to verify the claim, but for religion in my life it is rather difficult to accept. It will be there in the back of my mind but I prefer the traditional beliefs. Great read otherwise.

I purchased this book after seeing the documentary on television. The book was more informative than the documentary and answered some of my questions that the documentary did not. You need an open mind to read and examine the information compiled in these pages. I would recomend this book as a good read if you can question what you have been taught as fact.
Very interesting subject and well written. Gives a different outlook on what christains have been taught. Would recommend to anyone with a open mind.
