Face it, world, this is a sentimental movie, not a tough-guy action blockbuster. The bad guys are gritty and scary, but the three protagonists are facing something more important, and so scary they can only move and speak in a space beyond scared. Real families actually do that when they face an unknown and unbearable possibility. As father and son, Travolta and Sheridan slowly feel for a release lever and, as families sometimes do, they find a way to let go of their fear of seeing the truth in each other's eyes. And then they do the museum heist because they need an adventure together, not just because the bad guys will ... do fairly entertaining standard bad guy scenes in any case, of course. Very enjoyable. I recommend it.
