A European French film starring a French cast and crew, not entirely what I was expecting after veiwing previous vampire films such as, Francis Ford Coppola's version of Dracula (1992) starring Gary Oldman or Vampires (1998) by John Carpenter, starring James Woods. But I still found the film to be entertaining in many ways as it displays the stylishly atmospheric creepiness and the familiar hypnotic eroticism that is all to prevalent in todays 21st century narrative of the old vampire chronicle. All and all a well made film much better than Jean Rollins previous release, (The Two Orphan Vampires) in conclusion I will say for all those who love vampire films I definitely recommend this one but do not expect all the glitz and glamour from a Hollywood release, remember this movie is a European film and in Europe they do things different when it comes to production of films.Read full review
I like 1970s Italian horror.
