Quite helpful.Excellent to help in the classroom I am not the best at many aspects of drawing and this book made teaching art much easier.Great examples-children are always wanting to draw their current interest and art has been cut from almost all the schools.Careful explanations of why various mediums work best and how to apply them with specific projects. Art helps students become more proficient at math , spatial relationships and geometry, but it has to be taught well and broken down into steps that each child can understand. This book helped to make me a better teacher. So whether for the adult art student who wants to understand when to use what technique or to get better at understanding how to break down the information involved in successful drawing for children. This book includes all the terms and steps to teach almost anyone.Read full review
My daugther is a budding artist and saw this book at our local Barnes and Noble. We loved it because it gave step by step instructions on how to draw and create just about everything possible. So I came home and found it on Ebay which I paid half of the store price. I was happy. My daugther also commented that each drawing concept in the book has a picture of what they are talking about so you can understand what the book is teaching in drawing. Such a great book!!!!
This presents complete information in an easy to read and follow manner.
