This is a book I would recommend to anyone designing products. It is full of lessons of how products interact with the user, and how this interaction can be improved. Because the book is old, it goes to the basics, and you won't find specifics of new equipment

The way Norman writes is easy to read and understand. He uses many examples to better illustrate his points. Ever gone to use an everyday object and wondered why it is so frustrating when it should be simple to use? A phone, alarm clock, even just a door.
