This book is written to help people understand their feelings and to help people who want to help a loved one who has been molested. The subject matter is hard to deal with but the authors have managed to answer the questions before you know you wanted to ask them.

I bought the book on recommendation from my therapist, and it certainly has proven helpful in realizing that this should be no secret, that I am not alone, and that my reactions are similar to those of other women and men who have been through this, and are not over-reactions or self-centeredness on my part, as I had been taught to believe. Its ok to be upset. Its ok to look for support. And you can feel better. Exercises and activities in the book help give a realistic and helpful direction to move when you don't know what to do. The size of the book overwhelmed me at first, but its very readable. I have recommended it to others, and would again.
