A fun read and a good eat.
I bought this cookbook because I have owned, used regularly and was truly inspired by Ms. Chase's first cookbook; $5 Dinner Mom Dinner cookbook. My favorite recipes in the breakfast and lunch cookbook were the buttermilk waffles and the tuna melts. I thought most of her breakfast and lunch recipes were similar to others I had seen in other cookbooks. I find her system for shopping and menu planning the most helpful when you are trying to stay on a budget. I would buy this again and probably give it as a gift as well. All of her recipes use few ingredients and are simple enough to make with your usual staples.
