The representative of Emperor Maximillion have offered to buy the entire herd and at top dollar. Now they must drive the entire herd to Mexico. Col. James Langdon (Rock Hudson) of the Confederacy, and his men have finally gone home only to find their lifestyle destroyed. The South is in total ruin and financial disarray. They have been invited to do so by the Mexican Government. Now they must sneak away and cross into Mexico before the U.S.Calvary can intercept them and turn them back. Once successfully across the border, the two south-bound expeditions soon encounter eachother. As Mexican bandits prepare to attach the Confederates, John Henry and Blue Boy ride over to warn them.
