This is a simple item, but simple items are sometimes neglected. This isn't. After all, it holds your Garmin gadget, which costs a couple of hundred, maybe over $500! It fits 22.2mm bars, so you don't need a clunky adapter from some "one-size-fits-all" bit of junk. And the tightening screw goes into a metal insert, the right way to do it. Although this was designed with forward-facing "aero bars" I'm using it on classic touring bars, which are also 22.2mm. And the Garmin mount allows your gps to be mounted in either of two positions at 90° (portrait and landscape, so to speak) so everything turns out perfectly.

It clamps on easily and works. My TT bars are really close together so I had to angle the mount up just a bit so my Garmin 501 would clear, but I'm just nitpicking it works as advertised.

I've got a 2012 Cervelo P2 and Garmin Edge 800. This is perfect for mounting on the aerobars with the edge between the two bars. Easy to fit, very sturdy and well made.
