Since Tasco is now owned by Bushnell, one would expect the Bushnell quality to extend accordingly. It has to a point, however, to me, the China manufactured ones have yet to prove themselves. Although Tasco now makes most of their scopes in China, some of the earlier ones made in Korea and Japan had rather good optics, especially the ones made in Japan. Tasco scopes have always been associated with the words "cheap" and "junk" but I think time has shown that they have been grossly underrated. For a decent scope at a fair price, they are an excellent buy, especially the earlier ones that are in good condition. They are a far cry from a Zeiss, Nikon or Leopold but for the average shooter, especially in .22 or .22mag, they are very good scopes for the money.
Purchased this inexpensive sight for my new Benjamin air rifle package. It came with a sight that was virtually impossible for me to see through. It had such a small eye box I never could work with it. I had purchased another Tasco scope from Wally World years ago and mounted it on a high power rifle. It withstood all of that treatment (years worth) until I upgraded to a Bushnell AR scope. That old Tasco now lives on my grandson's 22 rifle! That is why I thought this would be a good solution to my air rifle issues. I have mounted it and have begun, but not completed the sight-in process but have no doubt things will be as they should. Acceptable quality for the money. By the way, I believe Tasco is now owned b Bushnell.

I've always been a fan of Tasco Scopes and this one is no exception. It's easy to adjust and the scope is clear. I also like the 30/30 Reticle. The only thing is the shipping was slow.

I purchased a 3-9 variable tasco scope for my muzzleloader. Not a bad scope. Very clear. Since i baby my equipment until it is GAME TIME i feel it will last a long time. Made well, adjustment knobs are tight and the lenses seem sealed extremly well. I have had a similar scope on another rifle for 20 years and it is still working great.

Good scope for the money. Easy to mount. Would have been better if choice of rings was offered. Had to remove rear sight in order to mount scope . A see-through scope would have been better, and still allow use of fiber optic sights.
