I fitted this in a Tamiya Holiday Buggy with a DT02 chassis. It was a vast improvement over the stock motor supplied with the kit and the fact that it's maintainable is a plus too. With the addition of this and a full set of steel ball races throughout I managed to get the buggy to clock 17mph with a GPS speedo. Which isn't bad. I think any more and it would make the buggy a leery little handful. It has enough torque to make the front end lift up when gunning it from a standing start (with a little reverse input first) although this made my motor cut out (not sure if the ESC was doing it or the motor).

19,000 rpm just better then the old dynotech from years ago that you had to tune. This one is fixed. Runs fine with tamiya stock esc TBLE-04. It's also the same motor soled with the Avante 2011, just has a different sticker on it.

Excellent quality took 2 minutes to swap it over. Haven't had the weather to give it a proper test but seems to work fine

Looking at the data, this is slightly better that the vintage Technigold as it has more torque.
