I was surprised to see that my S&W M&P40 fits perfectly and locks secure. Great set up and comfortable around the leg. My 5.11 flashlight also fits secure in the holster that it comes with. The other attachment is kind of useless since it interferes with grabbing the handle of my handgun. 4 stars because the screws in the back loosen up, however i put locktite to avoid that. Over all great set up and even better for the price

So I needed a paddle holster for a training class and made the horrible mistake of trying this attractively priced alternative. The design appears to be similar to the Black hawk Serpa that I am familiar with and since it was for a gun I don't normally carry I thought I would try it. So first fail, the plastic is soft and not rigid. This means that the paddle bends excessively so it is never really secure in your belt. The second problem with the soft plastic is the pistol sticks on the draw and thats where you really notice the cheap plastic pulling away from your body. Stiff plastic doesnt bend so even if the weapon were hanging in the draw it would come free. Second fail, the gun did not fit the holster. It was a Glock 26 and it would force in but then hang in the draw. Third fail, the push button retention did not work to release the pistol. This is a smooth operation on a true Serpa holster. This knockoff can not get the job done so 1 star and a warning to all. I would give it zero stars if I could...Read full review

I have 36 years of LE. This should not be considered as a duty holster. There is not enough security for weapon retention. It is lightning fast and easy to re-holster without fumbling. it is adjustable to individual wearers. As a combat / duty holster I would not have my flashlight nor my extra magazine on my strong side. If it is merely a standby item, I could live with that. The mounting behind the holster is bothersome as it is too close to the handle of the firearm and may interfere. If it had a thumb break with the trigger lock it would be substantially better for retention. As a non duty holster it probably would be ok in a walking situation. Prone or in a car, riding a bike, would be a different story.

This think holds glocks very well, it's a positive paddle retention and the holster is adjustable to almost any drop and any size thigh. The bad things on this holster, the plastic is a little flimsy, which makes holstering the gun slightly difficult at the top has curled in a bit. Second, the paddle must be pressed to insert the gun, instead of it being beveled to allow the gun to just be pressed past the paddle lock. Third, the clips to remove it from your leg are in the back instead of the front. This makes adjusting the thigh straps easier, but makes getting it on and off a bit difficult. Fourth, the magazine holder is a joke. I actually lost a magazine (fell out) while crouching, so I wont be using that again. Otherwise, if you want a cheap holster, go for it.

I work as an armed security enforcement agent and this leg rig is allot better than expected. It's a little flimsy and the screws needed tightening, but over all A+ The flashlight pouch included also fits ASP batons. Great quality buckles (surprisingly) when using Chinese duty or tactical gear I generally have to replace the buckles, but these are good to go. $20 is much better than $120
