When installing on a Winchester Model 94 pre 64 .30-30 the sights were significantly higher than the original sights. Also the front sight was very difficult to get into the dovetail. Perhaps the dovetail was made slightly too small as the original sight was a little difficult to remove. The rear sight does fit with a side mounted scope(weaver ring set). The sight body hits the scope(3-9x40) before it is all the way into the dovetail. The trick is to turn the rear sight around the opposite way and also turn the adjustable sight around so it clears the scope. You must favor the sight to the right to be able to see the left green optic well. Adjust front sight accordingly to sight in correctly. I zero the sights at 15-20 yards only and use the scope for longer shots. I hope this info was helpful.Read full review

Might be me or the set I got, put it on my Winchester 94 30-30 and quality was just poor they don’t sit flush in the dove tails tighted the set screw after installing and half the head broke off didn’t really put a lot of torque on it I was using a baby screw driver I took a chance because of the mixed reviews but no I don’t recommend save your money on something else haven’t tried to sight in cause they coming back off

I received the product within a reasonable amount of time. The sites were reasonably easy to install using a brass punch and a little patience. The rear sight was a bit easier due to the set screw retention. The front site dovetail was a firm fit in the barrel. If you do this with a brass punch make sure to not slip off and damage the site. Again with patience the install process is doable by the average guy. The sites themselves are a huge improvement over the Henry's diminutive front bead site and rear buckhorn. Target acquisition is very quick and sure, even for older eyes like mine (66 years old and bifocals).

These look good and work well. Target acquisition is improved, especially the front site. I've tried these and the "William's Fire sight" for Winchester 94's. These sit higher than the Williams sight. I like the William's sight a tiny bit better. (two different front sights and a little different build.) I put the Wlliams on my model 94 and the TruGlo's on my model 62.
