If TC Helicon is as quality conscience with it's accessories as it's main product offerings the bag will be fine. Downsizing convenience prompted me to also purchase the VL3 bag. I have gigged them once. Each bag has storage capability for everything needed to connect all I/Os to each other and to a (20-ft-away) stage box. These are soft cases w little to none padding, thereby offering cosmetic and some weather protection. Isolating / protecting power supply plugs is of concern as they can damage the bag, it's contents, or become damaged themselves. The fabric seems heavy enough, is soft and subtle, and the assembly quality seems good and sturdy. Zippers ?? My main concern is zipper integrity. Again, if Helicon has done its diligence, time will dispel my fear of breaking a zipper. (I don not think the zippers will separate from the fabric due to the fine stitching.) I now know exactly where the support hardware for these two pieces of equipment is to be found. Logistics, setup and sound check are smoother,...I feel the monitor and VL3 are better protected. Would definitely suggest users of this equipment employ the bags.Read full review

It’s a nice personal monitor. Sounds pretty good but in a 9 or 7 piece band setting it’s not enough to compete with drums and guitar amps for my sax. Works better in small jazz gigs . Mic connects to speaker and speaker connects to main board . Lacks volume on the main board and turning it up crests feedback . Also it’s only a matter of time before someone trips on a chord and the helicon comes crashing down so I’m going to only use it on small jazz gigs or for small trip or quartet gigs In ear works better with large louder bands . The product is good for some situations though but not all.

If you're going to carry these monitors around from gig to gig, you'll need to protect them because they're made of high impact plastic. Pretty durable, just not when rolling around in the back of your car. These bags have good padding on all sides, and a large pouch for carrying the power supply and cables.
