This entire Swan line never ceases to amaze me: their diatonics, tremelos, chromatics ... whatever. This is a company that takes a great deal of pride in very competitively priced harps. Dollar for dollar - and often feature for feature - they are simply the best. I recommend them on my free harmonica online course for street performers. Mickey Parker

I am surprised that I got such a harmonica for that price. I had ordered a swan diatonic harp before and I found it very leaky and hard to play. I already have a Swan 1248 master chromatic and I paid more than 100$ for that and I am happy with that. I can say this one has pretty similar quality with 2 holes less. So it is lighter and as I normally don't use those high register notes, I prefer to carry this one instead of my 1248 Master.

Appears to be well made instrument of decent materials. Has nice quality of sounds and is easy to play. Comes with a well made protective case. Good value for the money used by a beginner. Only thing I have noticed which caused four not five stars rating is the chromatic slide mechanism tends to stick a bit on returning to the standard position after playing it for a half hour.
