I was already a fan of Supergirl for many years, and had watched the first season religiously during its run on CBS. I knew the show itself was going to be every bit as wonderful as the TV run was, of course, but the extra features were nice, without weighing the content down. They didn't seem like add on weights to make the overall price higher. They were all entertaining and fun. I'd priced the season elsewhere, and found it at least twice what I paid for it here. The seller I bought it from provided me a brand new copy, with all the discs and features for a very reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for a better deal. So, if you're looking for a great modern superhero show that's great fun for the entire family to watch, without having to worry about impressionable kids getting negative ideas from positive role models, with great stories, engaging characters, and a genuine feel of hope, rather than the dark, dismal, everything is bad feeling many superhero shows and movies give you, this is a bargain you can't beatRead full review

I am not at home when this series plays on the network, and I didn't feel inclined to record it each week. What I wanted was the complete series that I could watch at my leisure without even thinking about recording etc. During the summer I checked on E Bay and at Target and several other stores that sell dvd's of television shows. E Bay was BY FAR the cheapest. Cheap does not always mean quality, but in this case I took a chance and was not disappointed. The product was equal in quality to any I had seen locially, the delivery was quick, and - like I said - less expensive than anywhere else. In future I will likely buy ALL my dvd's on E Bay. Everything was so exactly as advertised, and service and delivery so prompt, I see no reason to shop anywhere else.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series again. However I was disappointed in that the stars were not interviewed as I have seen on other series. I was especially looking forward to hearing about Melissa Benoist's interaction with Helen Slater, Supergirl the Movie - 1980, and Laura Vandervoort, Supergirl in Smallville - 2007-2010. Also, the ComiCon panel was held before the series aired on TV and thus the comments by the participants were not specific nor illuminating.

I remember reading how someone was producing a movie based on the Adventures of the Maid of Might - SUPERGIRL! I kept thinking who could they get to portray the cousin of the last survivor of Krypton, KAL-EL, SUPERMAN? Now we flash forward to the present, and we are in the THIRD SEASON of SUPERGIRL on the CW NETWORK, with a NEW ACTOR PORTRAYING the cousin of SUPERMAN. And we have the "ORIGINAL" SUPERGIRL, Helen Slater playing the EARTH MOTHER of the GIRL OF STEEL, i keep wondering how much playing around the producers are going to do with the history of the character. So far, i am thoroughly enjoying this series. I am hoping it goes a full SEVEN SEASONS.
