The legs on this tripod are very sturdy and stable. They are oversize aluminum and they are strong. The head is plenty stable for stills but nowhere near smooth enough for video. But you can change the head so it shouldn't be a problem finding a good head to go with these legs. I use a Velbon head for video. Still I looked hard for a tripod with the same features and quality in the same price range and they just aren't out there. This remains one of the best deals for tripod legs over the past 15 years. I bought my first one about 15 years ago and I broke a foot on it not long ago. I looked hard for a new one and found a good used model instead. I knew what I was getting and it was worth every penny. This tripod was very popular on video forums way back when. As I said you needed a good video head but the legs were hard to beat for the price.Read full review

Fairly decent tripod in a structural sense. But, the Tripod Head is poorly designed with plastic molded release plates, which are sloppy due to loose fitting, and becomes unstable for Hybrid Camera Rigs. Otherwise, it is not all bad, if the Tripod Head is swapped out with a more solid and reliable performing 3 way, 2 way, or ball mounts. Although, it looks great with a Wei Feng, and certainly improves everything on the top. At least the construction design is quite adequate for lightweight Cameras, and Hybrid Camera Rigs. Travels nicely in a carry bag. And is fairly light. But, it is what you pay for, and can provide good use and support to Dolly Cart & Track Systems. I have one as a Monopod version, and with the Geared Elevator version. This item should be purchased, based on your Camera`s weight class, and the added extras.Read full review
I LOVE this tripod! It extends VERY high (over my head, and I'm 6''2!). It's not that heavy considering how stable it is. I don't like the pan head (specifically the Quick Release plate, which is not that secure), so I "spun it off" and put a nice Ball Head on it. So nice, I now have two of these!

Very sturdy tripod. Good for professional use. Larger than I anticipated so it's not as portable as I hoped.

The 7500 pro Tripod is stable and the fluid head makes movements easy. It is compact but extends to 72 in
