This pump has worked perfectly so far in the 2 months it has been installed. The control box that it comes with is pretty much a plastic toy so I transferred the start capacitor to my original control box system so that the capacitor rating was still matched to the new pump motor. I went from a 1 HP unit to this 3 HP unit at 125' depth and it really fills my pressure tank up quickly. Motor run time is about half of my old 1 HP unit. Time will tell on how long it will last. My old pump was 4 1/2 years old before it quit & I paid $1000 for it back then.

This is a good pump (I have three of them on irrigation systems) they work advertised.. My oldest pump is three years old and I haven't had any trouble with it. The pump is in a 5" casing (5"well) sixty feet deep and is pumping water through a three inch pipe to my sprinkler heads.
