It was just what I was looking for. The price was fair and the product was as described. The same product new was ridiculously over priced. I’m satisfied and happy with the outcome.

Not worth the money. I have the stihl ms391 and the spikes do work but the hardware bolts are to short and the chain catcher is to short doesn't reach the other side. Looks like im going to the hardware store to get the right size.

Great saw and glad to have it in my arsenal. Yet, the Husqvarna 455 rancher I own outrun the MS271. BUT... the Husky is less reliable. I have fiddle with the Husky far more than the Stihl. If I had to have ONE... I'd take the Stihl for it's reliability.

Bought brand new MS271 from Rocky's and it broke after 1 month of use. I used Makita chainsaw before and had no problems, so I know how to use a chainsaw. Brought the saw back to Rocky's because I had bought the most expensive warranty with it. Rocky's technicians tore the saw apart and said they can't repair it nor replace it because they suspect it could have been my fault that it broke, and my best option is to buy a new chainsaw.

Needed a bigger chainsaw and this fit the bill. Plenty of power and cuts fairly quick.
