Great product for the money. The simple double filter reduces the "fines/sediment. " I use coarsely ground coffee and sometimes canned coffee with good results. Vary the brewing times and coffee amounts to suit your personal taste and give the brew a quick stir before putting the filter assembly on. It reduces trapped air and makes a more even brew. broke in a few months
No issue with the seller, and I hate giving anything but great reviews, however the press broke after only a few months. The disk top on the plunger broke off, so to push it down you now stick a rod in your hand. The coffee is good and the press is easy to use otherwise. I use my SterlingPro Coffee Press EVERY DAY! The coffee tastes so much better using this french press vs a standard coffee machine. Amazing coffee is the absolute PRO. The cons for a person to consider would be: how much coffee you drink each day---this only brews about 3-4 cups and cleaning the filters out each day--a chore I do not mind for the best coffee, and last, if you mind grinding beans--as to have the freshest coffee it is recommended to grind fresh coffee grounds with this method of brewing coffee.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's pretty sturdy, but I have issues with mine when pouring my finished brew. The top seems loose & sometimes lifts as I pour. I also find the notch that needs to match up with the spout is a pain to find (yes, I made a mark for myself) & the lid is rather loose fitting, too. Coffee stays hot much longer
