This movie is a great sequal to the "Saturday Night Fever" movie. John Travolta is in great shape in both of these movies. Sylvester Stallone(Rocky, Rambo) directed this movie and Stallone appeared in a scene with Travolta. A good thing about Trovolta's character(Tony Manero) is that he doesn't cuss like in the first movie. Tony says to himself "I've got a big mouth" because he makes mistakes communicating with women. The dancing is real good and of course Tony kisses a girl and then begins to strut at the end. While he struts, the smash hit Bee Gees song "Staying Alive" starts to play which makes the end of the movie fantastic.
A quality sequel to the classic Saturday Night Fever 5 years later. Tony has left Brooklyn to catch his break as a dancer in Manhattan.

Another winner for sure and you can't go wrong watching this one or SNF. John Travolta is such a versital actor and he is certainly no slouch when it comes to the art of dancing. The music is terrific, his partner I could strangle, her part is to act like a jerk and she does, but it is a really good movie. A must see also and again I give it 5 stars. I have both of these in my collection of John Travolta movies and how far he has come since Welcome Back Cotter. Wow he sure has.
STAYING ALIVE - Great movie! John Travolta LOVE - GREAT DANCING & excellent music! (This was a replacement!) :)
